Hotel Shikellamy Key
The Hotel Shikellamy was built in 1891 by the Drumheller brothers of Sunbury. The hotel burned to the ground on May 4, 1898. A large dining room on the property accommodated the many travelers that were brought to the area by train and canal. -

The Hotel Shikellamy was built in 1891 and operated until 1898. Overlooking the Susquehanna River, the land where the hotel stood is now Shikellamy Lookout State Park. -
Civil War Bayonet
This Civil War bayonet belonged to John Leister. Leister served under General George Cadwalader of Sunbury. Multiple markings can be found on the bayonet, including a factory inspector's mark. -
1936 Flood Photographs
These photographs, taken by a resident of Sunbury, document the 1936 flood that began on March 18. Parts of Sunbury were under fifteen feet of water and six-thousand citizens evacuated their homes.
