This advertisement would have been in front of a "girls show," adult style attractions featuring dancing women. This particular advertisement was hand painted and is believed to have been used in the 1950s or 1960s. There would have been multiple paintings like this outside the tent to attract fairgoers. This was common practice for carnivals at the time.

This depicts the first class of Chapman Union, including a list of student's names. At the time, children stayed in the elementary school until 7th grade.
