    Albert Bubb completed this assignment in 1923 when he was in the seventh grade at Seventh Ward school. He dedicated the assignment to his father.

    The composition outlines the history of Sunbury from 1772 to 1923. A postcard from Fort Augusta is included.

    This photograph depicts the construction of the Sunbury Flood-Wall. The man seen in the photograph worked on the construction of the Fabridam, Route 80, and numerous power plants.

    The Sunbury High School, as seen in the postcard, is now the Degenstein Community Library. Published by Leighton and Valentine Co.

    The Junior High School is now closed. Published by R. Ramsay Mebane

    The Fourth Ward was also known as New High. In 1955, a transition was made from Old Main School to the Fourth Ward School due to impended collapse. Published by E. Madciff

    Part of a large collection of photographs that tell the story of Sunbury, this photo depicts the repaving of Market Street in the 1920's.

    This railroad tie and spike were found in the Doughty mine. The Doughty mine was located a few miles south of Sunbury, near Selinsgrove. During the mid-1800's, experimental digging in search of zinc and galena occurred at the mine.
