Description

During Milton's 150 year celebration, Sesquicentennial Week was held from June 18-24, 1967. The sesquicentennial parade was over two and a half hours long. It included over 6,000 participants, 100 floats, 16 marching bands, and more. Participants dressed in attire appropriate to the early 1800's: this hat and ribbon were worn in the parade.
